im buying a used set of 4.10s off someone, just to double check that it is 4.10 how many teeth should be on each one? thanks

41 teeth on the crown gear....10 teeth on the pinion.... Quick Math 41 /10= 4.10

dont buy used gears...they are so cheap new

their 300 up here including shipping and gst or 100 used, why wouldnt you go used?

no but a gaskets different then gears, you can tell if gears are worn or not, plus mine in their now have 120km on them so i dont see much difference in putting something with like 10,000 on them

Okay, the short and simple answer.

Gears develop wear patterns, when you take them out unless you can match the exact wear pattern you will have excessive wear and tear as well as noise. You can get used gears online from 5.0 resto and American Muscle for under $200 dollars. IF your international 5.0 resto ships $15 dollars flat rate anywhere.

Trust me, Just get new gears bro...we're just trying to look out for you.

Its hit or miss with used gears. Some whine, some don't. I had used 4.10s in my sixxer and they whined, but really not that bad.

Jegs.com is the cheapest place to get FRPP Gears hands down

which is better 3:55 or 3:73? i want good accel but i dont want a low top speed

auto=4.10 manual=3.73 try 50resto.com your going to need a rebuild kit also.

already bought the rebuild kit, i was going with 4.10s is that not a good idea for a 5speed, i've heard different things one guy up here has them in his 5speed and loves them i dunno

Your an idiot. This is hardly an appropriate comparison. Used gears are fine, as long as their installed properly.
