Hey guys my current set up is 18 by 9 inch fr500 rims all around with 265/35/18.

Im about to get tires here pretty soon and in the process im going to order two 18 by 10 fr500 rims from americanmuscle.com to upgrade the rear for a staggered look.

I am going to go 285/40/18 on the rear and 245/40/18 on the front. Unless you guys have a better suggestion? I was also wondering which tires you guys think I should go with. I live in San Diego and it barely rains and the stang will never see snow...

Thanks!

245, depending on what brand, in my opinion is a little small for a 9" wheel. I would stay with a 265 up front if it were me.

245s are fine up front...295s are good for the rears...

I run eagle f1s and they hook great

Thanks Guys!

I want to go 245 up front because its not just cheaper but i willl also get some turning radius back and have less weight up front as well. I think 285 will be good for my car in the rear. I have about 350 at the crank so it should hook up fine. If you think about it the terminator came with 275 from the factory and it still ran 12s easily, plus it has way more power at a lower rpm than I do. I think unless your above 400 HP anything over 285 is a little over kill.

Do you guys know of any places to get tires from and any suggestions on the type of tire? I was thinking of Tirerack but I was wondering wat you guys thought...

BFG KDW 2 has treated me well, I run 275 front and 295 rear on 18X9 and 10" wheels35 series tires.

I got them from discount tire. I would go with a good extreme summer performance in your case, since you said it would never see snow.

make sure for the rear you get 285/35 and not 285/40, unless you're going for the taller rear tire look.
