275 would be a good size. I've seen people fit 315 drag radial on there before, but it was a Nitto 555R, which is a narrower than most of the 315s.

See what some of the others say... I'm new to the SN95 mods still but I'd just look for a set of 4cyl springs (cheap) and you should drop an inch around !

I would suggest depending on what tire you are going with for example the NT555 Street tires, if it was me I would run on your car 275/40/17 for the front and either 285/40/17 for the rear which will give you a little bit of roll over or beefy look. Your second choice in size for the rear would be the 315/35/17 but they would roll over pretty good and you probably would not gain much over the 285 VS 315 when it comes to traction and handling. IF you go with another tire brand then the actual size may vary but otherwise pretty close all around. IMO thats what I would suggest.

so 275/55/17 and 295/55/17 ?

whoa, your car would look like an off-road truck with those tires. For 17x9s all around you should just run 275/40-17s all around, and rotate regularly.

I would say 275/40R17 all the way around if you want an even wear. Thats what I'm running on my 97
