Help with LCA's

Hey guys whats the best method to remove the rear lower control arm bolt toward the front of the car. Right now its just spinning and i cannot fit a socket between the muffler and the opening in the frame rail... :BangHead: i already lost a 11/16 socket in the frame lol i dont know how im going to get it out...

But yea its getting cold and dark and i need a hand lol

any help would be much appreciated

Take a magnet from a HDD and use it to trace it back to the hole in the frame.

honestly, we unbolted my exhaust... just undo the muffler hangers... its two screws...

you need to drop the exhaust and just use 2 18mm sockets.

thanks guy i got tired in the dark and called it a night...im going to drop the exhaust in about 15 mins here and ill have pics by the afternoon!!

good luck! :) i suggest just unscrewing the muffler brackets and seeing if you can just muscle the exhaust out of the way long enough to get the socket on it...

I forgot you need 1 deep socket and one regular socket.

What Arms are you using?




thats were my mufflers were on the way

i unbolted the catback at the midpipe and the exhaust swung out of the way.

After that an 11/16 deep socket was the trick

i gotta get the picks up soon :D

I got standard mm control arms :D
