you put them on the front? Why on gods green earth would you do that? I have ton's of room in the rear for it. It rubbed the inner fender on hard turns, but a hammer took care of that.

no theyre on the back theyre rubbing on something i havnt had the chance to see what theyre rubbing on cause i just had the tires and rims shipped to my buddys tire shop and he just called me and said theyre rubbing on the strut tower or something but he had a 1 inch space lying around and he threw it on and the problem was solved but im not trying to go with a 1 inch spacer thats a little too much

If you run Nitto Tires they wont rub. I have 17X10.5 rims on the back w/ 315 Nittos w/ the quad shocks not flipped and I dont rub

Re: 17/10.5 inch rims

Get some good control arms and ditch those damn quad shocks. I have BBK uppers/lowers on my 95 with Eibach 1.5" drop springs, no quad shocks, no wheel spacers/longer studs, and I run a full exhaust system. My 17x10.5 Bullitts and 315/35/17 Sumitomos fit fine with no issues. The only thing I had to do was "persuade" the very inner part of the wheel well with a hammer just a little on each side.

Exactly what he said, flip them, unbolt them and replace them in the opposite way so the smaller end is now close to where the tire sits

Just take the quads off... you aren't making enough power to wheelhop and by the time you do, you will have everything to replace what the quads do for you.

Maybe the quad shock? Try flipping it.

If you have aftermarket U/L control arms just take off the quad shock.

just flip 'em first, then check... if you don't like the result, get back to us

+1 You wouldn't want to take them off unless you have a nice set of upper/lower arms, like previously said

you would take them off in order to eliminate any rubbing, which is why you started the thread i am assuming

Stock uppers are fine. They say that you shouldn't even bother replacing them because of the bind issues that occur with the type of bushings that are used in them.

That's what Ive read up on as well. Just was not sure if for some reason the uppers needed to be aftermarket along w/ the lowers for the quads to come out. Might be a little something for me to do today then.
