Whats the difference between the two. I have been told by two race shops that I should stay away from sq tube sfc's and only go with round tubing. What they have said is that the sq tubing can twist

round tubing can twist too. In the Navy the propellor shaft was 18" in dia. connected to a 16' dia prop. it had a torsion meter attached to it to measure torque (twisting motion) so the engines didn't break the shaft. IMO if you don't want the car to twist then a full roll cage is in order

quare will be fine until you get like, 900 ft/lbs. lol.... by that time you should have a full cage rolled out on your whip :)

square is perfectly fine.... i actually built mine myself just went and bought some square tubing and cut and welded them in.... save a ton of money.... spent like 10 bucks as compared to like 75-100 on a kit....
