Hey folks - Our Mustang for the Lemon's race is coming along. But we need some suspension work, it understeers like crazy.

Thinking of using v8 springs all around, and then cutting down the fronts to proper height. It doesn't have to be pretty or perfect this is a Lemon's race car after all. I figured that would provide stiffer ride and less body roll. Guy at local junkyard with a 4.6 mustang hulk said those would not fit, that the GT was different after he consulted his computer. I don't have a photographic memory but seemed somewhat similar, has any one got info that would hlep me?

Also, the front sway was available, but is that mounted differently on the 4.6 vs the 3.8?

I'm thinking of lowering the car per the notes here (thanks)

will add v8 rear sway.

TIA, Scott

Grab the V8 sway bars and all their mounting hardware. Especially the frame mounts. The V8 springs may be too much on uneven pavement in the curves.

I have a set of 94 vert springs if you want to buy them and have them shipped.
