no need to take it to a shop. I do my own all the time. You need a balljoint press (you can rent one at autozone). Pop the spindle off (you'll need a pickle fork and can rent that at autozone as well) Press out the old ones the press in the new ones.
Ya I dont have air tools. BUT MAN i have it ripped down to where i have to pop the tie rod end off then I CAN SWITCH teh ball joint out but the fork i rented but it seems to just be ripping the boot for the tie rod end!!! any advise to get it off
