Hey guys im looking to buy some new wheels for my car and decided that I wanna buy 17X10.5s in the back with 315/35-17 tires. Ive heard these will rub on the inner wheel well? Is this true? Also It says Nitto 555 drag radials shouldnt be driven on in the cold months but they should be fine year round here in central florida right?

Nitto's run narrow they wont rub. I have 17X10.5's w/ Nittos w/ no rub issues. They will be ok in FL weather but when it does get cool out just dont stab the throttle to hard. Once nitto's are warmed up they stick good ( Street duty)

I run a set of 17x10.5 w/ 315/35/17 Sumitomo HTRZ tires and 3 inch exhaust tips. No problems what so ever and no modifications needed. I say enjoy and relax.

I can't speak for Nittos in that size, but a buddy of mine had a 94 cobra with 17X10.5 with Sumitumo 315/35/17, still had
his quadshocks on and they didn't rub. Most people with 18s and 315s have problems, but the 17" wheels with 315s don't
seem to have too many issues. :dontknow:
