how wide can you go?

hi guys i got a question for ya. can you have a 17x9 wheel (95 cobra) up front and go lock to lock on steering without problems?

Well, considering that at full lock the tires go right into the sway bar, there is not that much space. You just have to conciously remember not to steer at full lock.

I believe if you switch to 03 Cobra A arms you should be good to go, might depend on the tire though if you run 255's you might be okay. What was your plan?

i know my cobra rims are a 17x8 but i run a 255/45 on mine and have never run into a issue. I used to run 275/40 on stock tri bars and never had any issue unless it was a full full lock turn

Take a look at your swaybar. Does it have some paint missing maybe, right around where the tires would be?

if i went with 17x9 i would probably run the widest tire i could so i probably want those 03 cobra A arms any idea where to find a set?

275's up front, rubs at full lock. Stock control arms

315's out back. 2-3 inches of room.

I run 275/40's up front.....I know they hit at full lock...but then again so did my 17x8 245's lol

i think i will stager the 98 cobras up front and put 95 cobras out back (only on track days) for more grip

go 275's 1ith 17x9 up front..... it take alot of understand away from the car.
