on a 17x9 you could do a 275 all the way around if you wanted. That 275/45 is going to be huge in the back. i would do a 275/40. then maybe a 255/40 in the front if you want the different sizes from front to rear. Otherwise i would just do a 275/40 all the way around

+1... Since you're not going with staggered wheel sizes, I say keep it consistent with 275/40 all around.. That way you can rotate out your tires...

But if you wanted to step up to a 17x10.5 rears... Gotta get 315's and say screw rotating tires :headbang:...

Nope you'll be fine with 275 all the way around :)

Some Guys over on SVTP have stretched a 315 Nitto on the 17x9 Cobra wheel but i wouldn't go larger then maybe a 285

I agree 100% with both those guys. Yes 275's can look a lil big on the front of our cars, in some cases i've seen them stick out of the fender a little but it all depends.

My old wheel/tire setup was 17X9 with 275/40 on all 4 corners... They're not the best pics, but you might be able to see
what it looks like....

By the way, I liked the way they looked in the front, and if you wanted to, like someone already said, you can rotate your
tires this way (I had drag radials on the rear, so not for me). The only disadvantage of having such a wide tire in the front
is occasionally driving on the highway my tires would sort of "ride" the groove in the asphalt caused by semis, that wasn't
too fun to feel like you're car has a mind of its own...

I run 275/45's on the front of my car. It looks fine but they do stick out a little bit. When I replace them I will probably get some 255's for the front. I however do not have any issues with the tires rubbing on anything.

BTW my wheels are turned slightly to the left.
