How do you tell if shocks/struts are good on a vehicle, if you can't drive it. Say for instance, at a U-pull it parts place?

My struts and shocks are completely gone. I just need something to tie me over until I can get a good set for a decent price. The local LKQ sells them for $10 a piece or something similar, and sometimes the guys there cut the price for me a little bit. I'm kinda hoping to find some aftermarket ones there.

Anything from 94-04 GT will work, right?

You could check and see if the fluid is leaking out of them. If you can take them off you can see if the shaft has play in it and if the dampening is still good too.

which LKQ are you dealing with. I work for a dealer, we use them ALOT and they are good people.

LKQ down in North Charleston, SC. About ten to twenty minutes from my house. They have some good stuff every now and then. You can find turbos and superchargers every now and then. I need to look for an x-pipe.
