alright, i just got 4 saleen rims. the fronts are 245/45/18 and the backs are 285/35/18. the rears wont sit flush against the rotor so i need to run a small spacer such as 5/16. do i need to get longer studs and if so does anyone have a part number for them.

yea thats what i think x182dan is talking about. but if i run the rim with a 5/16 spacer, would i have to get longer studs or will the stock 1 31/32 inch ones work

Did you figure out what the tire is hitting? If you get a 1" spacer your tire is probably going to be sticking out of the fenders.

yea for some reasont the rims are hitting my axle cuz it is sitting kinda farther out. the rims i got now have a deep center area to go around it but the saleen rims hit the axle shaft cover. i just got 5/16 inch spacer, which should be plenty of a space to allow the rim to sit flush.

the rim(s) is f**k*d, getting a spacer wont fix the problem.
get the rim(s) replaced.

spacer=temporary fix?

x2....

It shouldn't be hitting in the first place. If it is you should probably just get some 3/8" spacer and some longer studs.

Yeah man I would get your rear end and tires and rims checked by a shop! that doesnt sound safe Ive heard horror storys with spacers and longer studs I wouldnt want to be driving 100+ mph and have the tire rim blow out or rear end esp on stock rear / axle in a rwd car and the back end blows out! not a good idea man!

Saleen wheels fit perfect on our cars without any modifications. Either an installation error or you need some work done to the car.

That is correct, and if that's the case the wheel would be sitting in too far and could be hitting something.
