I just sold my DD bullets and bought some brand new 17x9 termi wheels. i absolutely love them but is there anyway save to make the rears stick out some. any info would be helpful. i know i used to work at pep boys and they sold some spacers that looked cheap.

1-1.25" thick hubcentric spacers (the ones with lugs on them, not the plate type)

1 inch spacer is WAY too big for 9 inch wheels. You will rip apart you sidewalls with the un-rolled render.

I am running 1/4 inch MM spacers..... Looks perfect

I have 1.25 on an 8" wheel and it's perfect, so as handz said .25 will be perfect!

I am running MM 1/4 inch Hubcentric Wheel spacers... The kind that slide right on inbetween the wheel and rotor.

My wheels are were pretty close to being flush but a 1/4 inch made it perfect while still not chewing up the tire on the fender.
