Im looking a a set of BBK lowering spring for my car. I have the eibach Pro-kit on my car now. But it still has WAY too much body roll for my liking. So i was wondering if anyone has used the BBK "specific spring rate" lowering springs and how they like them?

Thanks

i have those. i hate them.

They perform okay. The streetability could be a little better, but you get what you pay for.
They helpped in cornering, but they didnt help in forward launching.
They didnt help enough to justify the lack of ride-quality.
They also settled "up." ... when the day i dropped it, i loved the stance. now 11 months later, its riased a noticeable amount.

BEFORE: 100% stock

Thats hella weird that they settled up on you. I love the look of dumped SN's but want mine to perform well too. I am trying to get to like a 1/2 inch to an inch of wheel to fender gap in the front and just like a 1/2 inch higher than the front in the rear. Im just trying to figure out how to do this.

My buddy has a 1995 Mazda MX6. It is on Eibach springs and Tokico struts. Everytime i drive that car them go back to mine i hate it. It corners SO MUCH BETTER than mine. I know i probably wont be able to corner just as well as his eve. but i would liek to come somewhere close

My dads 1996 cobra has bbk springs/camber plates, and Tokico illumina shocks. It handles really really good. The stance isn't too low, but it's just right. Of course it does have 9 inch wide tires on the front, and 10 1/2 inch wide tires on the back. It also has baer toe adjusters... at least I think that's what it's called. The cobra used to be run on the track.

Remember you don't want to go too low, or you'll hit every friggin thing in the road... plus you'll scrape your longtubes if you have them... like we do. A good street stance is 1" in the front and 1/2" in the back.

Do Ford springs if you want a budget spring, otherwise eibach pros.... if you do get the BBKs get the progressive rates, not the standard rates.

Mine was dropped roughly 1.5"s and i wish i went lower. The HEIGHT is GREAT for street-able driving, but i feel every bump and pebble.

Honestly, my subframes made the largest difference on cornering. I also suggest a wider wheel all the way around (315s on all 4s, maybe?)

the BBKs wont give you what you are looking for... coming from someone who drives a BBK-equiped car everday, you can trust my judgement.

I like the stance okay... id prefer a little lower, but i also have smaller wheels... so... i could do bigger wheels to help fill the wheel-wells.

for budget springs, once again, i suggest ford springs.

I already have the Eibach pro-kit. And i HATE them. The car cant corner for s***. The body roll is ridicluos. Yeah. They may be more comfortable on the road than a lot of other springs. But that is just cuz the spring rate is softer which makes cornering not much better than stock. Stock spring rate is 450. And the eibach progressive is 460-530. So it doesnt improve it that much

Well everyone I talk to that has the Eibach Pro Kit springs say that they
really like them compaired to the stock springs.
Handling and cornering is improved compaired to the stock springs.
The overall drop definitley improves the look of the mustang.
The Eibach Pro Kit springs will be on my list of mods next year I can't wait.
