Definitely not two men, a breaker bar, and a 1/2" swivel extension.

That's a pretty poor quality swivel.
Do yourself a favor and get a quality air gun and a quality IMPACT swivel. It's a ball-socket type made for high abuse.

Let me guess that was the passenger side down pipe that did that

We have a quality impact gun and such. I don't know the story on the swivel but it's been around for years and never given me any problems. And yes, it was on the passenger side lol. That bolt never did come off, even after half a can of PB and using the impact with no extensions. It's still attached to the manifold on my shelf.

I'll have to look into the impact swivel, I don't believe we have any of those.

Do not buy the fancy new lightweight ones. They suck. And they cost 3x more. I'm going on almost 10 years with this one. Make sure you're using 1/2" drive everything. You lose a lot of torque with one of those 1/2 to 3/8 reducers. And as short of an extension as physically possible (and only one, every joint you lose a ton of torque). Deep socket, then the swivel, then the shortest extension you can, then gun. Quick, repeated taps.

I did the same thing except with a 1" drive impact. The swivel was the only thing we didn't have forged in our concoction to get it to fit. it lasted a hole 1/8 of a second. What makes the passenger side such a big PITA?
