Ever since I installed my tokico d-specs I've noticed a clanking noise when I hit the brake pedal at low speeds coming from the front end. After a quick inspection I've noticed the control arm bolts are not even close to being centered in the bushing. That's more than enough evidence that the bushings are indeed the culprit. Am I correct? Also what's the easiest way to remove the bushings from the arms? Oh they also have over 200k on them

The easiest way to remove them is with a blow torch and a drill, or a hydraulic press.

I would imagine your assumptions are right though.
