I'm lowering my '96 cobra soon and im not sure which springs to get, not looking for a big drop just something to make the tires a little closer to the wheel well without having rubbing problems. I know a guy selling Ford Racing B Springs with 10k on em that i can pick up for a good price, im just debating if i want to get those or if i should save up and just buy brand new springs that may have a better stance.

Ford racing B springs would be perfect if you don't want to go too low.
They're advertised as a 1.25" drop in the front and rear. You can always remove your front isos if you want a tad bit of a stance.

I wouldn't get the B springs. They don't lowe the car 1.25, more like 1 up front and .75 out back. They are gay springs lol. I wish I would have gone lower to begin with. They ride pretty smooth but make sure you trim your pinion snubber or get ready for lots of bounciness.

I'd say look at the spring database and decide what you like the look of. 1" drop really still doesn't look that good on our cars imo.

I'll probably just send the extra money and chose a different spring set. What spring database you talking about? And any recommendations for springs that'll give a decent drop without having to replace shocks or other suspension components?

there are none. you gotta pay to play. new springs means you need new shocks struts and cc plates. don't be cheap. I went cheap just to save some money and now am ending up spending more to correct the issues.

bilsteins or go home lol. H&Rs. look the best on our cars, the eibachs will do as well. these cars need all the help they can get lol
