I keep looking up the rear springs for H&R SuperSports and H&R Race, and I can't figure out why I keep finding H&R SS rear springs are stiffer than the Race ones...

Well, They're progressive and the Sports are stiffer once you get the spring compressed lower while driving- 300ish (lbs/in) compared to the race set that is 280 (lbs/in). When doing more research, I see that the 99-04 and the variety of colors they offer change the rear spring rates slightly.
Somebody else posting regarding similar springs-
Stock Springs= Front: 420 lb/in, Rear: 200 lb/in

H&R Sport Springs= Front: 490-575 lb/in, Rear: 250-285 lb/in
H&R Super Sport Springs= Front: 700-760 lb/in, Rear: 275-300 lb/in
H&R Race Springs= Front: 750-850 lb/in, Rear: 260-280 lb/in
H&R Super Race Springs= Front: 950-1050 lb/in, Rear: 260-300 lb/in

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs= Front: 456-570 lb/in, Rear: 200-251 lb/in.
Eibach Drag-Launch Springs= Front: 342-462 lb/in, Rear: 180 lb/in, Right Rear: 180-349 lb/in.
Eibach Sportline= Front: 425-550 lb/in, Rear: 200-251 lb/in

the guy at MM said my front coilover springs were going to be too stiff for the H&R SS rear springs and suggested I swap them for rear Race springs and I don't get why when they appear to be less still.
