Went ahead & swapped the rear control arms for some BBK items i picked up used but good condition.I know there are much better arms to buy,but expensive once shipping etc is added on to the UK & these came up locally.
Whilst i was working on the rear,i decided to remove the quad shocks & dog bone from the axle to carry on the weight loss.I also removed the spring isolators & wrapped the ends with tape, then a little grease on the mounts.
The rear feels much more positive & planted compare to stock, with no adverse effects from removing the quads & dog bone.
Here are a few pics to compare the stock arms with the BBK arms.
