I have a 94 mustang gt coupe. It has eibach sportline springs and tokico blue shocks and all stock isolators in place. My car doesnt sit low enough for me. I'd like at least 3/4 of an inch more. What are my options to get it down another 3/4 inch more?

Thanks

You can pull the isolators, cut your springs, or get different springs.

What wheel/tire combo do you run? Do you have pics?

IIRC, the sportlines are pretty low.

it will drop it roughly 1/4 to 1/2" ... maybe.

I suggest just getting new springs and selling your old ones.

i personally like the stance of your car, but its not my car. lol. So, if you have some spare time, drop the ISOs. they arent that big of a deal, but still kind of a paint in the ass for a 1/4" drop...

Is there any springs besides coilovers that lower more than sportlines? I guess I will try isolators first. Kinda sucks it's only a 1/4 drop but it's a start

Also thanks for comments on the car. I like my stance too but there is still a wheel well gap I'm not fond of. I'll be getting 18's in future not sure if that will fill any more of gap.

take the iso's out, I wrapped the ends of my spring with a cut up bike inner tube to help keep noise down. other than that, cut them and don't look back. cutting them for a 1/2 inch shouldn't cause any ill effects. I dropped mine over 2 inches on cut springs, and have no complaints, other than the normal problems associated with lowering your car that low.

Great looking SN.

I like is as is too. Agree with springs, get some that will give more of a drop.

if her springs are standard rate, i suggest cutting them as well.

if they are progressive rate, i wouldnt suggest cutting them.

Just remove The ISO's from the springsr (If any) from top and bottom. My 95 with H&R springs had them and once removed I got just over half an inch more drop. You will be happy with it.

How long have you had the springs in the car?

remove the isos. like everone said ,and then cut the springs if you want to go lower. all 4 of my springs are cut and I dont have any rear isos.
the car rides just the same as it did when the springs weren't cut.

good point. although, for as little as OP wants to drop it, it could be achieved by just cutting the dead coil, which I don't think would affect a progressive spring too much.

and according to eibachs website, the sportlines are a progressive rate spring.

The springs are red and say eibach sportline.

Springs were on there when I got the car so not sure how old they are.

I will try the iso first just think if I'm already pulling Iso I mind as well cut like a 1/2 a coil and iso. What do u guys think for 3/4 more drop or 1 inch max.

I would say to cut 1/2 coil and put the iso back in.

You dont want to cut too much.

1/2 a coil should get you where you want to be.

you could also get some weight jacker control arms with adjustable spring perches in the back. that will be an upgrade and help lower it.
