I picked up a 95 gt for a parts car recently and i was removing the motor and discover a brace that ataches the the subfram and go to the k member. it looks likea skid point to be honest.. lol the cant is directly under the rear oil sump and also has a hole through it to fit a ratchet extension. anyways guessing that its some type of suspension stiffner......

any help wpu;d be great! How do these work with subfram connectors?

Mine had this as well, 94 GT coupe. It's a 2-point g-load brace.

What do you mean work with subframe connectors? You want to remove this brace? I guess you could, the Foxes never had them.

Sorry I didn't clarify... Yes my donor car is a vert, I read that they came with them factory to beef up the k member on the convertible cars.
I was just really wondering how they would work in conjunction with the sub frame connectors that I have.

The x-braces actualy go to the radiator support from the k-member right? I saw one on a Bondurant SN.
