Where is the neutral safety switch located on my 95 5.0 aode. Was told by my guy that the neutral safety switch is shot and thats why i have a lot of issues starting the car pretty often. Its like a $50 part but where is it located?? Going to be a lot of $$ to have installed?

On a fox it's on the driver side of the AOD right about where the shifter sits. Just a pair of wires going into a clip on the trans.

Gotcha thanks. Is it also known as the transmission range sensor? If it is i had that replaced last October, shouldn't crap out already. Better be under warranty too.

That I don't know. Check out your service manual.

I know in Foxes, probably SNs as well, the body harness is the same for T5 or AOD. So you'll have that same neutral proving circuit by where the pedal cluster is. But it will have a plug with a jumper in it, that would go to a T5 clutch safety switch.
