I’ve seen questions similar to this asked a lot but I’ve seen so many different answers. I have a 1997 Mustang GT, 4.6 V8. From what I understand, all 4.6 mustangs before ‘99 had Romeo blocks. I’m looking at a pair of Windsor PI heads out of a ‘99 GT. Will they go on my block? What would I need? Thanks in advance!

Yes they will go on. Make sure you have the correct head gaskets, the Windsor and Romeo heads have different oil ports. The windsor heads also have more bolts in the cam covers so you’ll need those. Also, some of them had larger bolts through the timing cover in to the front of the heads. It’s not a big deal, though. I think those are the major differences you’ll have to overcome
