I think that looks great!

Ive always wondered what full length side pipes would look like. Have the pipe end sliced back to be oval like svo exits.

Spintech exhaust makes a wide oval pipe. Run the length in place of the side ground effects.

now get ready to avoid any curbs/speed bumps :) I know I do with mine with air ride.

everything tucks really well, I haven't had any issues with speedbumps so far. the rocker panels won't extend beyond what hangs under the car already so it should be good. it isn't lowered very much so that helps.

first ABS print actually completed. it was a fast job so the next one should look a lot smoother but hey this one won't melt in the sun!

oh and i figured out my random fuel leak. the rail brackets didn't allow the thing to seat well enough on the passenger side so i fixed that and i'm replacing the stock injector clips with the proper ones so i don't have to use adapters anymore.

injector clips?

What brand of rail is that? Strange that the mounting holes will not let it go down far enough.

Its aeromotive and a mach 1 intake.

I had these adapters for each injector to mate the 97 clips to the newer ford racing injectors. now that i know it all works I was confident enough to wire in the correct connectors and while I was at it i hardwired the Coil on plug harness to get rid of that ugly plastic plug.

thanks man, yeah its been an ordeal for sure. slow n steady wins the race. also, been working on these little rocker panel jigs to help me line up my rocker panel covers. right now i'm just trying to figure out how I want it to look and I think today I landed somewhere.

something like this. the jigs are helping me get an idea of the exact dimensions I need so that maybe I can have it cut and folded out of a single piece of aluminum or stainless.

I have realized that I think I have paid for my cnc now with all the side projects over the past couple of years. Now I can't help but consider either a 3d printer or a nice 100w laser cutter/engraver and wonder how long it would take to pay that off....

im like 300 all in with this aquila x2 and there is third party firmware that apparently extremely versatile. i've had this thing going most of the time i've had it and it hasn't skipped a beat. the lasercutter sounds pricey tho. you could rapid prototype plastic parts and then use those to get a feel for dimensions and maybe cut down on cnc'd versions.

if anyone is wondering why i used bolts for the door cups you'd know if you grabbed one to close it. no more squishy cheap feeling.
