So my car has been in the shop getting some work done. For those of you unfamiliar.. I have a carbureted modular 4v with big cams and M55 turn downs. Car last weighed in the 28xx range with street wheels/tires. I'm continuing to drop weight out of it, and when I last tore my interior out I decided that I will not be putting it back in. All metal interior.

Getting the car prepped and ready for the cage...

I'm also ditching the stock steering column.. going with a woodward NASCAR tubular column. I'm remaking the dash out of real carbon fiber (I make my own vacuum infused carbon fiber) and switching to spek pro gauges (same ones that NASCAR Cup teams use).

I also have a parachute mount, mini tubs, switching to a 'under the floor' coil over suspension setup.

I have double adjustable AFCO coil overs, 8.8" housing that has been narrowed 2" on each side, braced, welded tubes with 9" ends. 4.56 gears. I also picked up new aerospace brakes for the rear as well.

Currently the motor is a stock 260k bottom end with 03 heads, COMP cams, etc. Few years ago while I was still EFI it made 380rwhp NA with stock intake manifold.

Building a new motor, the maching/balancing just finished up last month. Teksid block with darton wet sleeves installed by Pro Line Racing with a 3.8" stroker crankshaft, @ 328c.i. I think I have the largest 4.6 based modular in the world.

oh.... and I have 14:1 nitrous coated pistons for it as well ;]

Cool stuff in here looks like a pretty sweet setup. I never knew you could carb a 4V. Sounds wicked in the video!

Thanks guys! And yes, this is for drag racing.

I'll be painting the cage, probably some sort of dark silver/shadow grey.

So I stopped by the shop this weekend to check on the car.

It's completely welded in now and pretty happy with it!

Spoke with him about the next step. He'll be welding in and setting up my rear end/suspension for me. I have a good bit of what I need, but now I'll have to order the rest of the stuff I don't have.

....slowly but surely.....
