Well I bought a blower, and i found out it has a 10 rib setup, i believe it has a 3.12 pulley might be 2.95.

Anyone know the adv/disadv of a 10 rib setup?

well first off (i found this out the hard way) leave a decent sized pulley on the blower just change your lower pulley to a smaller one so you dont have belt slip and the blower doesnt work so hard. and if i remember correctly the more ribs the better, i have 6, and i have horrible belt slippage, My bud has an 8 rib setup on his KB making 660HP with no belt slippage.

A 10 rib has two more ribs . . .

lol . . just messin. 10 rib setups have a lot less belt slip than 8 rib setups. 10 rib is a lot better. Belt slippage is a big issue if your blower is a centrifigul blower.

Yeah I had 8 rib on a d1sc and 2.95 pulley and saw some insane belt slippage so keep it
