Brings back memories.

When my dad hit his "mid-life crisis", he bought a Maverick Grabber (his best friend bought a 'Cuda). 302 V8, floor shifter, buckets, and of course, the Grabber's dual hood scoops, rear spoiler, black-out hood, side stripes, wide-ovals, driving lights, and so on.

At that time, the early 70's, the Mustangs grew to what today we would call a stretch-limo size. IMHO, the Maverick Grabber helped to fill the hole that the Mustang's left.

Sold the supercharged 306 today. Was a bitter sweet moment.

I had a 73 Maverick it came with a boss 302 engine, I had a built 429 engune for it but my brother cracked the chassis so I didn't have the money at the time to build the chassis so had to junk the car and sell the engine since I didn't have anywhere to keep it

That is the plan. The wagon is so clean and rust free it is ridiculous.

Plans are to drive it with the stock drivetrain for this season, and then swap the Godzilla and t56 in over the winter.

I am ordering a performance camshaft from Brian Wolfe for the Godzilla.
