1988 5.0 Mark VII engine swap

I have a 1996 3.8 Mustang..1988 5.0 with AOD transmission...1995 Mustang GT k member, full wiring harness but no maf sensor...the 88 5.0 was still speed density ...My question is ...will the maf sensor work off my v-6 and plug in to the 95 GT wiring harness...and will i have to change a lot of plugs on the motor to make the GT harness work the 5.0...New to this Fuel inj.. thing...used to throw a carb on everything ...lol...im not building a race car...just a cruiser

Probably be easier to carb. Installing 2more cylinders can be a real hastle fuel injected only since the car wasnt original v8. Might be just as easy to get a painless harness and computer form an 89mustang gt.
