looks awesome man especially for a body lift. not that there is anything wrong with body lifts typically but i've seen some bad ones lol.

Yeah body lifts definitely arent the best type of lift, but with toyota pickups with IFS in the front, you really cant do a true suspension lift on them without swapping to solid axle. In my opinion, you throw on a mild body lift for a couple hundred or swap to a solid front axle for a couple grand, so I picked the body lift lol.

ElrodKTPQ_89 appreciate it man. I've always loved that style front bumper. And a solid axle swap will be in my future.

No problem dude! I found those videos a while back when I was looking into building that tire carrier. He has a few other good videos in his channel also like quick release door pins and more body cages and bumpers.

Ugh makes me miss my old 93 Yota. Right in the feels. Nice truck you picked up man, loving the wheels and tires on there.
Mine was 2wd with mid travel suspension when I bought it. I turned it into a 4wd chassis swapped, with G56 transmission shortly after. On 33's as well. I want another one but it wasn't a great DD at the time.

Finally got everything put back together...

I then went ahead and tested everything for rubbing. Since stock Toyota IFS suspension has like 2" of travel, I didn't have to do much trimming to get rub free lol

There is no rubbing in the back, and slight rubbing on the front valence and in the bottom of the fenders. Got all that trimmed up with a hack saw and grinder and we're good to go lol :headbang:

My clearance on the front valence and bottom of the body in the fender...

I then replaced the stock speakers with Memphis units, put in a headunit, and put in LEDs in the HVAC and instrument cluster

Next thing on the list is exhaust. Cant stand to see it hanging that low! And do yall think I should put shackles in the back to give it more lift? It has a little sag in the rear

Also replaced license plate bulbs with LEDs and put in new tail lights

Speedometer didnt work in the truck so I bought a used unit and replaced the speedometer head in my cluster. I also put in a factory clock since mine didnt come with one

And some pics of the minty fresh interior. One of my favorite things about this truck. Its a 23 year old pickup and it has one of the cleanest interiors ive ever seen. I hated blue at first but its definitely grown on me

That thing is so clean man, I wish I had it. And personally I vote no on shackles for the rear, but I like a little 4x4 rake from front to back.

I see. A yota box with 147k miles. Too bad it will only last another 200k.
