What is bumpsteer like? How do you know if the car has bump steer? I know it is wheel movement, is it like a pull to the right or left while driving straight?
It's exactly what the name implies.
Simplified- the lower control arm and tierod rotate in an arch when you go over a bump, You want both to rotate in the same arch.
If they dont, when the suspension is compressed (by either a bump, braking, or hard cornering) the tie rod will turn the tire because it's rotating in a different arch.
