I have a 1995 V6 3.8L. The oil gauge is not working during operation, meaning, the needle is at the bottom, or the left side of the gauge. At start up, the needle jumps (left to right) before dropping back to the left. During operation, there is no change of the needle; it stays flat on the left side. Given it moves at start up, I assume for now that the gauge works. We replace the sending unit recently. Other than checking the oil sensor connects and replacing the oil sensor, is there any other action I can take?

Understood. I will lift the car and check. I bought the part anyway; it was only $14.
