adjusted the fuel table for the e85 mix and made two test hits this morning out front of my house . Gotta few more things to try next time I go to the track. Pretty sure I was reving out second and third to high as I was grabbing 4th before the traps . That could be why I was having a lower trap speed at the track . with times like that, make sure that laptop is mounted securely :) or maybe just get a longer cable and put it in the back seat since that is where it will want to go to?

I just leave it on the passenger seat . I’m on my 555r2 drag radials with 30psi in them . I was so bummed out at the track with my trap speed at the track thought i hurt the car . I poured like 20 litres of e85 in the car before the track to top it off . So way too many variables . I also was shifting above 6000rpm and grabbing 4th right before the traps . This morning I shifted between 5800-6000 and well it’s where it should be . I’m working on a full e85 tune next for the car . I gotta haul a car down to the coast a few hours away so I’ll fill up a few Jerry cans with e85 so I can have a bunch to keep around . Can’t say enough good things about the holley , had the tube dialed in fairly quickly this morning with my 94/e85 mix .

Good old marketplace find edelbrock Victor jr manifold , elbow and fuel rails with a Wilson 90mm throttle body . This stuff should go well with my Victor jr heads . Installed my Mach jaun seats today , I pulled the rear seat a few days ago . Going to make a rear seat delete because the ones on lmr are overpriced

I dont know who juan is but he makes really nice seats...

Lol always loved the Mach 1 , bullit and cobra seats , I scored this mint set for 800 maple syrup dollars , I’ve had them for a long time just never got around to installing them . I think I’ve had them for 2 years .

Jeez, that's a long time for 8 bolts and a clip or 2!! You will love them, rhey look mint condition. I have a pretty good set in my green car. They are soooo comfy, and actually have reasonable bolstering for corners. How is it modding up there in the land of syrup

It’s not bad , we don’t have annual inspections where I am . Cops love hot rods out this way and pick on the imports with noisey exhausts that are really slow . They were still sitting in the 04 Mach 1 until Wednesday at my friends mustang auto wrecker/ shop . Long time friend of mine has bought salvage mustangs for over 20 years . I always source nice parts from him . Low milage cobra engines , transmissions , mint interior parts etc . I order a lot of stuff from summit and lmr otherwise it comes to my farm here so it’s not so bad . Orville Washington border is like 40 mins away

Now that the drag and drive is over it’s time to pull the cobra intake and get this Victor jr on the car . I’ll be doing -8 feed -6 return for the fuel lines going to grab PTFE hose tomorrow and a bunch of fittings to plumb the fuel system with the new quantum fuel hanger . Ordered a 3.50 griptec pulley as I clearly measured the stock one wrong lol . The new ones almost the same size

Been busy on the car last couple days. Building fuel lines and installing the intake manifold . Making the switch to fox style throttle body . Waiting on some fittings and fuel line before I can finish the fuel system . I’ve got some cut to length plug wires I’m going to put on before I’m finished aswell . Finally got the car back out for some hits at the track . . Most tracks my car goes 7.90 at 89 mph prior to the mods at this track it was a 8.20’s around 84-86mph elevation is a real bitch . Needless to say that cobra intake was a major restriction in my setup . I’ll look for the slips from two weeks ago to compare and post them same track . Swapped my smaller blower pulley on so hoping for some more gains this coming week . Finally got my issue of sick the mag . Got the rear end al pulled apart for a gear change , new upper and lower control arms and torque box reinforcement. Main focus over winter is dialing in my instant centre to get this car to leave harder . The last weekend out the car was consistently trapping 96-97mph in the 8th mile so there’s a ton of ET left on the table mainly in the 60ft .

Thanks . The last event of the season it started really making good power with decent air . Quick injector swap and some suspension upgrades . Itching to get back out but few more months of waiting . That f150 of yours keeps impressing me .

I was away so long you went from Mustard to Ketchup lol. I kept reading waiting to see someone had made that comment already.
I bet this car is super fun though. What other suspension changes do you plan on making in the future?

It’s funny that’s what all my local friends said when I got the car . Mustard to ketchup

got some different coils to throw in the car 90/10’s for the front and 50/50’s for the rear . New upper and lower control arms with solid spherical bushings for the diff .

Cars a ton of fun once I did the intake manifold and pulley swap it really came to life .
