So here is the deal found a 97 cobra engine for $1300.00 bucks. Includes engine, transmission, wiring harness, everything to include headers. Now my question is, is this worth the cash to do as far as power for dollar? I have zero experience with mod engines. The 5.0 in my '95 runs fine but i am for sure craving more power, also this is just a fun cruise around in car like going to mustang week and such. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

You will also need a different k-member and trans support.
H pipe is different.
Do you have the cobra computer too?
The guage cluster pin outs are different too.

IMO you'd be better off changing the top end on the 5.0. or spray it.

I would choose 2valves over 4valves....anyday! And since you stated a fun driving car, just cam out what you have or like these guys stated, force feed it.
