That is very odd. It doesn’t sound like it hesitated or had a miss due to timing being off. You’d think it wouldn’t of started that smooth otherwise.

Right???!?!! That’s why I was so puzzled. That was literally the first time cranking it and it fired right up

She is set right at 10 degrees base timing now. The spout connector was zip tied behind the shock tower under the inner fender. Idle is much smoother but I need to give it throttle to start the car when the engine is hot. Cold start is beautiful

Iac may be stuck open a bit. Take it off and clean it with carb cleaner inside really well. Then put a few drops of oil in side and work the spring a few times.
Reinstall it and see if your still having an issue.

Forgot to post. Car is sold. Moving on to different things. It’s been fun, I will pop back from time to time to see what’s up as long as I’m still allowed to visit without owning an sn95

You’re always allowed to visit, even if you own a Prius. Sorry to see it go, I hope the new owner treats it as good as you did.

What is it with you and yellow?!? Lol

I’ve actually looked for a zo6 in that generation. Pricing has gotten very reasonable on them lately.

I actually don’t even like yellow. Just happened to be the two cleanest cars in my budget have both been yellow
