If you want to spend that kind of money on a gun and you want quality, get a devilbiss gun. I got a devilbiss gti pro lite and it is absolutely amazing. Look up “The Gunman” on you tube, he does spray gun reviews and is a really good painter. Watch his videos and learn his technique before you start.
I believe you’ve mentioned that gun to me on a different post. I’ll have to check it out for sure! And his videos. I’ve been watching a Chanel called “paint Society” and I’ve been getting a lot of pointers from there as well, guy even uses budget guns with great results

More of the final pieces of the puzzle. Pi intake gaskets, and a set of regrinded 5.4 truck cams! Head bolts I’m sure I could have gotten away without getting but figured why not grab a set anyways

Finished assembling the new rods and pistons. Last piston I unwrapped has this scarring on it. Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem to use it?

Engine finally disassembled, and the block was sprayed down with chemicals and cleaned. Everything looks good, I’m glad I tore it down to rebuild, had a lot of debri in the cylinders and quite a bit of moisture everywhere from sitting. But everything checks out. This seemed like an intimidating task with it being my first engine tear down and build, but so far so good! I will be posting more updates on the assembly process within the next couple of days!

Got the bottom end assembled! Boy was this a time consuming process, but it feels good making more progress!
