1997 4.6 2v change from water cooled oil filter to a non water cooled filter.

Needs some help here, Have a 97 4.6 2v GT, someone has messy up the water cooling part of the oil filter, can I use a non water cooled filter on the car…..if so what parts do I need..

I ended up going to a junk yard picked up 6 of them
Lmr wants about 300 for them
And some other places the same
I paid 60 for all 6
I say go to the bone yard
