Browsed through the thread a bit. Nice pickup! 00 GT was my first mustang as well. Bought it 10 years ago, its currently sitting in a storage unit a few miles from my house. Will always have a soft spot for that specific year.

New wheels look good! the 5 star OEM is a solid choice especially if painted black IMO, but the ones you went with definitely have a nice modern look to them.

You end up getting a clutch put in?

Decide if your going to 4 valve it
I picked up a crank a couple weeks for the 4v motor. just need rods and pistons and i'll get it to the machine shop. Decided that i'll have both. build the 4v the way i want it and keep the 2v as a back up/beat the crap out of it kinda deal.

i've not picked up a clutch yet. still need to. Living on borrowed time on the clutch in it now. Those wheels are OZ wheels that i picked upon the cheap and had them powder coated. I like them because even at the 18" they only weigh 20 ish pounds. Pretty light for an 18" wheel. back spacing is a bit off for the sn but i'm using a 1" spacer on the back. I'b debating some 00 R replicas.

Bought some new bump sticks for the 2v. Todd Warren worked them up for me. Set up for stock longblock. Just need springs.

Did some cluster work today. Bought the 00 and someone put a 35th anniversary bezel in it that I don't care for on the non anniversary car. Anyways, always liked the white gauge faces too.image2.jpegimage1.jpegimage0.jpeg

I like the look of the white face gauges. How hard is the install?

discovered that someone put the Dorman intake on my car and couldn't handle it lately just knowing that its not even the Ford redone PI intake so i picked up a new one from a friend to swap on this weekend. just about finished. Decided to clean up the alternator while its off so there's always something to mess with. Also a good time to throw on the Accufab plenum and throttle body

Been a while i guess since i posted. Still have the car and finally got some updates. I thought I'd try the Stifflers sfc's this time instead of the MM. I like the price and i don't track the car so just picking and choosing what mods. Anyways the Stifflers are nice. Every time i have the sfc's welded into a New Edge or Fox i can't believe i waited to do it. really should be the 1st mod. Car doesn't feel loose. You know if you have them on your car. Anyways got that done and a new clutch installed. Long fucking story. Bought a clutch from a guy, didn't know the pressure plate wouldn't work until it was installed and all back together. Anyways, car was down a month. drove it last night and realized i missed it.
