well here i am again. 3rd sn95 in, I dunno 3 years or 4 maybe? I'm back to a 2000 GT ( my very 1st mustang was a 00 GT)
So i changed my build name again. lol.

I've decided this is my last "project" car, so I'm going to do anything and everything I want on this one. Starting on the suspension i just would like a good street/performance car. I won't be tracking it much at all if ever, so most things I modify are going to be just because or because I've done it before and like it. lol. Starting with the k member. I had a Team Z to put on and discovered it was the wrong one and i had it sitting for 2 years. Anyways, ended up with a BMR member and it was amazing how easy the install was. Fit right in! So nice to get the hunk of always in your way k member out.

anyways, starting with k member, coil overs, caster camber plates, solid steering shaft, cobra brakes. I'm working away. Gotta gid rid of the 4x4 stance. Just looking to go the 1.5" lowering or so. we'll see.

oh i guess i need a clutch. pretty sure its stock with 130k miles on it. Didn't plan on that to start, but its up in the air and fuck i guess time to get shit done.

bought some wrong cc plates also, deal too good to be true. Problem with buying parts and letting them sit. Didn't realize they were just not the correct ones until i refinished them and went to install.....life.

they look like mm plates. do they not have the 4 bolt posts with them?
They do, but they are not the correct plates for the 99-04 or they are an old version, maybe? I can't find a version on their website that looks like this. The top adjuster bracket only has 3 slots instead of the 4 like this one.

Third times a charm right? Hopefully this one works out!

I see you put some Firestone Indy 500's on it, how do you like them on these cars? I used to run them on my old Mazdaspeed3 and loved them. I need two new front tires that can handle daily driving in the dry and wet along with a few auto cross days here and there and these are a contender for sure.

i like them a lot. when they get warm they are sticky for a street tire. If you lived close i'd give you a good deal on some 255 45 18s. I put them on the front but they are just too big for the front. i'll probably pull them and use 245 45's and use those on the back when the 275s are done.

That’s better. Got the new plates on and the steering shaft. On to the coil overs and arms next.

Which model bmr K is that? How is the fitment? Which A arms are you using? Im wanting a tubular K for the v10 project when i get that far but i want something more structurally sound than a UPR.
Its the basic BMR k member they sell for the 99-04. I don't plan on tracking my car so it seemed to be a good choice. I had the team z that i had to sell and this just feels/seems sturdier than the Z. I'm also using the BMR A arms. The stuff fit right in perfectly. i was amazed actually how easy it was to get it in.

its this one. 1657459870826.png

Thats awesome! Ill have to look into that, the upr one in my turbo car made everything feel clunky, whether it was with stock A as and H&R SS springs/koni singles or with upr tubular A arms, koni singles and the MM voil over conversion on 250# springs.

I’m also running that bmr k member. Daily driven car, 250# coil overs with their a arms. The fit was perfect, and the car feels great. I swapped to this one from a upr k member, night and day difference.

Sounds like we basically have the same set up. I’m using the 250# coil over set up also.

Got it on the road again. Coil overs on the front MM, k member BMR & a arms, bump steer kit, sway bar end links, caster camber MM, rear springs and shocks including quad shocks and hd mm control arms. Sick of being under the car. Cobra brakes are next and a clutch. C7F31618-32BF-44AA-9A8B-C8C661EC00F7.jpeg
