I sold it with in 4 hours of posting it. surprised me. I sold at $6k. the engine had 202k and really needed a transplant or rebuild. That's what made me decide to look for something a little upgraded.

i'm looking all over the place for a New Edge Cobra or Mach 1. Prices are stupid now like everything else. Even just finding something near $10k is tough. I'd prefer a Mach but would also take a clean 99-01 Cobra. I'll be do an eaton swap on whatever i end up with.

Keep looking and just be ready to pounce with cash... you wouldn't believe me if I told you what I spent on my Cobra. Deals are out there if you are lucky and at the right place at the right time.

Got it. been busy as shit this week with work and just stuff i guess. Anyways, I just swapped my wheels on it last night need to wash her up and work on exhaust. Its just strait piped right now and that is stupid obnoxious loud. Can't believe someone can deal with that on a daily basis. Also not a fan of the blacked headlights. Tried to drive it last night couldn't see shit. It is basically unmolested. Stock everything else. Runs great. I forgot how much better the 4v runs compared to the 2v. I'm pretty much going to just drive it this summer minus the basic work to the exhaust. I'll pull the engine next spring and pop in the built motor and the plan is a procharger right now. We'll see.

I had a torch red new off the lot in 2003. I forgot just how much i like driving this version of a New Edge and watching the shaker shake ....works for me!
My first V8 Mustang was an 04' Oxford White Mach 1, my second V8 Mustang was an 03' Torch Red with an 03' Cobra engine swap. I will always love the new edge Mach 1! Seeing as I've only ever owned 4V Mod Motor Mustangs I'm partial to this engine as well. Can't wait to see what you do with it! I haven't driven my current Cobra a ton while I finish sorting out the kinks, but based on the one blast I did on the highway... the Procharger is a wonderful idea lol.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about this one. Got the car i want now just spend some time making it mine. I did a quick drive to the gas station last night and took off hard to merge onto a side street and roasted the tires and i didn't dump the clutch. Definitely a good runner and the engine is really pretty quiet mechanically. I was looking for a white one, but i'm happy with the blue. Pretty iconic ford car in blue.

Pretty much any color looks fantastic on a new edge Mach… Azure Blue is a great one!

Washed and finished my wheel swap. Picked up a stock 4 cat h pipe today for emissions and some regular head lights.

Ok i'm officially changed over to a Blue Mach 1 from the Red GT here on the site. Passed emissions on the car over the weekend and am ready to just enjoy this car and drive it until the new engine is buttoned up and ready to go.

not always sure where to post things so I'll just dump here on my thread. ended up at cars and coffee over the weekend. quick visit. but the car of the day in my mind was this Coyote swapped pinto. the swap was nice but the car was perfect. one of the few pintos I've ever liked.

Got the Mach 1 through emissions last Friday. Relieved of that. Now i have 2 years before retest. Also found a killer deal on an x pipe with high flow cats and a nice cat back for the car. Replaced the shifter on the car with a stock knob also. Painted the pattern.

as mentioned in another thread worked on the cat back over the weekend. kind of tired of laying under the car. i'm getting pretty serious about getting a lift at this point. I've pulled the catless H off to put the 4 cat h on to pass emissions, then i pulled the crap pieced together cat back someone had on it to put the magnaflow. I still need to get back under and install the magnaflow hi flow cat x pipe i have now. Would have made sense to do it all at once, but that seems to never work out for me.??
