2002 mustang GT supercharged “drift stang” build

hello everyone!!! Just wanted to share one of my current projects im working on.

The wife and I have been attending the amatur drift events here in north Georgia across from road atl. After riding with several of the drivers and getting sideways with fellow blue collar workers we decided we wanted to build one of our own. After a fee weeks on FB market place I found a 2002 mustang GT running and driving with the vortech V2 removed due to bad bearings. Towed the salvaged titled stang back to north Ga from Almo Ga and started the project. Gutted the interior and swapped out seats for racing seats, got the supercharger rebuilt and just tuned up. Took it to the track and tried out the grip(autocross) sessions and the stang was over heating after approx 7 mins into each session. We had a blast but now it was time to get it back home and swap out the crappy radiator and repair the one wheel wonder rear end.

With the new radiator instlled and I added a CX racing inner cooler. Went with upgraded 31 spline axles, full spool, 4.10 gears and C clip eliminators.

I went ahead and added cheap coil overs and picked up several 1995 cobra R style 17x9 wheels.

So far still just trying to dial in the suspension and just need to install the hydro e brake. Should be ready for the first race feb 2020.

been a few years and just wanted to give an update:

pulling the engine and going all forged, smaller pulley, full angle kit, full spool with 4.10 and 31 spline shafts.
