Yes, why?

led lights are polarized meaning that they have to be put in the correct way to work, where the old style bulbs could go in either way. Go back out, stick the led in the socket and if it does not light up pull it out turn it around 180 degrees and then put it back in and I bet it works.

I will try that next week. I am gone for a few days between work and going on vacation.

Well, another update on the Mach 1.

I have not had any time to work on the car due to weather, traveling, and work. I am looking forward to March changing some of that. At least I can give an update that may be of interest in both parts and direction.

First off, parts.
260394953_10109140418055768_7861878061743799893_n.jpg

Got a 03-04 Cobra trunk lid/spoiler combo for the car.

270411300_10109205176489348_8906263637159221309_n.jpg

Got some Cobra Jet emblems that i have a plan for a subtle nod with them.

271051927_10109205176409508_8165562746440827409_n.jpg

Got a 99-01 Cobra front bumper.

271190247_10109205176454418_9031955666182488667_n.jpg

Got some Speedhut Gauges for the SOS Gauge Pod.

271219775_10109205176509308_4952782817171703873_n.jpg

Got some pieces from Carbon Driven. I also just ordered the radio bezel from them.

271919729_10109228313138318_7180531582250416163_n.jpg

Got a KMJ alternator.

271926223_10109228313118358_3632622753001602793_n.jpg

Got a set of 15+/Boss Coyote Rods for the budget engine. Hopefully it will hold me over until I can get a good setup built.

271953461_10109228313103388_7822793147229747529_n.jpg

Last piece is not as sexy but, a backup camera for when I install the new radio.

So, with this stuff comes a change in plans. Since I picked this car up I have seen at least 6 of these parted out due to being totaled. I keep finding more issues as I go in the way of it being a hack job when it came to previous owners modifying it. This has thrown my OCD into overdrive and I cannot take the things that have been done to it. That said, it will be stripped down and given a "restomod" treatment. I am replacing entire sections of wiring due to wires being cut and connectors damaged. I am going to strip the interior, remove all sound deadening and replace with Noico Liner, replace the carpet, etc...

The build is no longer a drag oriented build and instead a badass cruiser. I will buy a GT when I move and go wild with it.

I am going to remove the Steeda K Member from my GT and use in the Mach 1 and get a MM for the GT since the headers I am going to buy for the GT Coyote swap do fit the MM but nobody can tell me if any fit the Steeda. I will save the BMR for when I grab a car I am willing to get for drag purposes.

Last thing is color. I saw the new Antimatter Blue and showed it to my wife and daughter and they love it. So the car will be getting the Antimatter Blue color when it gets painted.

That is it for now. Hopefully the weather and work will cooperate in March and I can finally get to work on the Mach 1 and GT.

I made a hood prop for a guy that has an antimatter blue mustang. I made a trip to a dealer to get eyes on the color and was extremely confused when the dealer pointed to the black mustang to tell me that was antimatter blue. It was an overcast day and it wasn't until I turned on the light on my phone to look at it closely and WOW that thing has some color hidden in it.

Like the plans for it. I’m prepping to do a k member -a arm swap in my 03 Mach. Also going mm coil overs. I’m planning on a new or cleaned up set of heads and custom cams on mine. Also have some gears to be installed. Love the machs.

Love me some mach 1 stuff. Def gonna buy another!
I put a built IRS in mine and a stall. Started drag racing it this year and will be putting 4.56 gears in it and tuning it this season.

People are asking twice as much for rebuilt ones with almost twice the mileage in my area as what I paid for this. Now, this one is like a weekly magazine with the number of issues that were able to be masked. One issue I knew about and could tell, others were more uncovering the issues. I don't know who caused the issues but after looking at the ownership history I wonder if that was the reason for some selling.

Anyway, no pics but I did get a 4.15" pulley for the P1SC-1H and the Carbon Driven radio bezel. I want to get the Instrument Cluster bezel with dual gauge pod to finish it out. I am going to paint the spoiler matte black. So no Carbon Driven wing.

Last is I saw the Antimatter Blue Metallic paint and thought it may meet in the middle of what I ws leaning to and what my wife was. I showed her and my daughter and they fell in love with the color. So it will be Antimatter Blue unless my wife changes her mind. lol

Yes, so I was leaning a few different ways. I was interested in Tuxedo Black but also in maybe a red but not Torch Red like the car is currently. I was liking the Rapid Red Metallic but I was vetoed, my wife wanted something in a dark blue. We were looking at the Midnight Blue Metallic until I saw a picture of the Antimatter Blue Metallic. That is the winner.

I did get the Carbon Driven Radio bezel in and the 4.15" Pulley. I also ended up ordering a new Shifter Bezel Trim Ring and a trunk nets for both he GT and the Mach 1. Tomorrow the BOV should be here. I ended up ordering the Procharger Big Black Race Valve.

The current plan is to clean up the garage and get the Mach 1 pulled in along side the GT. I want to drop the front suspension and replace the oil pan, steering rack, replace all the steering lines with AN stuff, and replace the front suspension components. I decided to order the MM K for the GT since nobody can confirm that any of the Coyote Swap with 6R80 headers fit the Steeda K. The Steeda K will be going on the Mach 1. I am going to order the 14point7 ADV Wideband specifically to integrate into the MS3PNP through Canbus and use the Innovate stuff for my visuals. I have the PSB-1 and ECF-1 so I set visual warnings since the MS3PNP doesn't have CEL capability. I am sending my lower intake off to have a PSR done, I am going with 10" runners.

The big thing right now is to get the garage cleaned so I can get the Mach 1 in and get some good weather. Weekends have been cold and wet lately.

Small update on the Mach. After almost a year, I finally titled the car in my name. I also ordered a specialty plate for the car.

Next, I dropped off the block, crank, rods, pistons and a few other things. After taking some measurements a concern I am not surprised about was voiced and a decision had to be made. But we will touch on that more when the part arrives.

Next, the adaptors for the ID1000s came in. My daughter was excited because purple is her favorite color.

I got my keychain in for the Mach 1. I already bought the one for my GT a while ago. I think they look good.

Last, I got in the Vortech elbow at the throttle body. The plan is to have the intercooler piping welded to minimize couplers.

I was concerned about how it would be done with the center piece. On the personalized plates they don’t have that center picture.

A little bit of an update.

My plate has shipped and possibly arrived at the County Clerk, I will call this week as work is kinda slow right now.

I did drive the car a bit recently.

04C6F1FF-6659-4C96-A389-EB7146225BFD.jpeg

I ordered Antimatter Blue paint to start working on cleaning the interior, removing the OEM sound material, and putting down new Noico Liner.

Once the paint arrives I will order new carpet.

The bad, this car just wants to fight me.

I had inventory for work this week. I decided to start the car and let it idle for a few minutes while I counted the parts I keep in my van. While it was idling it popped a P0354 code. Normally, I would not be all that concerned as the car is 19 years old. However, the COPs have maybe 300 miles on them as I have a receipt where the previous owner had Ford replace them before I bought the car.

Now, it could just be bad luck and a bad COP. It is ok I have new OEM ones. It could be the ECU. Again, ok I have the MS3PNP. Or it could be wiring which is my concern since I have already had to buy new wiring for other sections due to cut wires.

We will see.

I did get a MM steering shaft for the car. Tomorrow I will probably check the COP and pull the valve cover off to get the PN for the cams so I know what is actually there.
