Here are a few pics i took during the car show and a couple videos i took while standing on the side of the road after we blew up the motor. the videos are bad quality. (old camera).

1969 GT40 - this is one of those cars built from that Carroll Shelby GT40 warehouse. it has a 2006 or 2007 title but was built with authentic parts from the 60's. i talked to the owner and he said the bad part is everything that was wrong with them then is wrong with it now. tough problem.....

also a link to a website where they shot multiple shots of cars at speed. in those shots, look how hoods bow and flex at high speeds. just to set it up for you, the first shot is the unlimited Corvair all the wat down trhough to the last car in the 85 class.

This is us.... we ran the 120 class and our magnetic number blew off somewhere around 130MPH.

here we are from that website before we blew the motor up.

Nice man!!! How did the car do before the engine went? guess I shoulda gone.......... I should be down next year for some racing action, I should have a car to campaign too!!!

once the shocks and tires heated up, the car was handling great through the corners, but was lacking in power exiting the apex. but it did good when we could carry 120 through the corners. a lot was learned on this trip though.

i see a built lower end, 3.70 gears and oil cooler before next year. we'll stay in 120 and see how it does before moving up to 125 or 130.

judging from those pics, we still have a slight front end lift issue to work out. the rear springs are old, so the spoiler might have enough downforce to push the rear down and lift the front.

it's an absolute blast. we got there on wednesday and passed out wednesday and thursday nights. i'll post up pics of the blender party when someone posts them up.

sweet pictures man.

That cobra r splitter looks like it's disturbing more air than producing downforce. it doesnt even follow the bumper...

the guy either owns or has access to a wind tunnel. it looked pretty good in the video i posted above. he was slow because his car was geared with 3.73's and was taching 5500 at 150MPH in 5th gear.
