Disclaimer. I'm selling this one for my brother in law (referred herein as my brother as he is closer ot me than any other family of my own). I'll save you the sob story of why unless y'all want to read it. As such... since it isn't mine, I have not studied too much about it. I have taken a bunch of pics and will be happy to share video of the bike. I will not lie.... I like this one. I do. I just don't have the cash to buy it for myself. This bike deserves someone who is going to put some miles under it and piss off neighbors with the downshift-blips (which this machine does alarmingly well). The below is based off what I have discovered/observed myself. Pics should back most of it up, and also indicate things I missed.

Before you go any farther.... my brother's asking price is $4500 cash. No trades.
Located in and around the Tifton/Adel, Georgia area.
Mileage is around 41,100. 41,095 in pics... but Ive taken it down the road a few times and loops around my yard since then.

2014 Triumph Scrambler that was purchased around a year and a half ago out of Madison, Florida area. As the story goes, the first owner was a Professor at ABAC (Tifton) and was sold to a ABAC student who took it home to N.FLorida area. My brother bought it from him and unknowingly brought it back to the Tifton area. Since he purchased it, he may have put 500 miles on it based on what he told me. The bike was listed both on FB Marketplace and CycleTrader and I recall seeing the ad with 40,000 on the clock. You can see what it has now.

As pics will show, this one has a full Arrow exhaust. I believe a ring was removed from the muffler (in photos) allowing it to have the full bark. I wouldn't change it myself. There is a set of Australian shocks on the back.... which brings me to the box of parts. There are TWO more sets of shocks, an apparent set of original fork springs, clutch springs, TWO sets of grips, TWO steering dampers, set of front and rear sprockets, original chain guard and original primary sprocket cover. There is also a Corbin solo seat with rear rack thing. Its is rough shape with at least one seam separating. Maybe worth sending back to Corbin for a recover if they still do that.

There is an Oxford grip heat controller, however heated grips have been removed for some reason. It currently sports a set of "Triumph" grips. There are a few dressup items on the bike. Clutch cable arm and cable stay on the engine case. "Triumph" oil fill cap. "Triumph" brake res. Aluminum carb covers (originals in box of parts). There is a cable for what I believe to be heated riding gear. I ziptied it to the the frame tucked down by the left side cover. Speaking of side covers... the one on the right side is a Triumph original replacement. Please... do not ask what my brother paid for it. He ordered it from the shop ... I think in Byron?... along with the heat shield and related bits that I stuck together and slipped onto the bike. Its all Triumph and good as new. I believe the front turn signals are OEM and the rears are cute little smoked deals that I would remove and put OEM back on it if it were me. To each his/her own. The chain guard and front sprocket cover are aftermarket.... sprocket cover is labeled "race only"... so technically it's now a race bike, right? It either has an aftermarket air filter, or just an intake horn was removed from the filter... the oem intake horn/inlet is in the parts box. I may be wrong, but if the mirrors are original, they're the best OEM mirrors I've ever seen. Easy to fold in/up if you need to. There is a clampy style phone holder that will hold a standard iPhone 14 in a Otterbox Defender case. Couple of 1" RAM balls. Not sure if its OEM or aftermarket, but there is a chunky fork brace holding the fender up.

My brother asked me to bring it home, install a new set of sprockets and a chain and look it over for him... and to sell it. I pulled the valve cover and cleaned up the seal. It was cocked a little when it was last removed apparently and was allowed a little film of oil around the sparkplug recesses. It wiped off with no significant buildup. The cover sinched down nicely and I have not noticed any oil seepage, film or buildup in the two weeks I've had it here. I charged up the battery and added a tender connector to fit my chargers. As mentioned, I installed a new set of sprockets. Supposedly, they are original tooth count. I didn't check... but the front has the rubber silencer ring and the chain is a Regina with gold links. (Pics were taken before swapping)

I rode this bike once, on a cold night when my brother proudly rode it out to show it to my wife. I have ridden it four times in the last two weeks and was informed last night that the insurance didn't get paid. It is now currently uninsured so I can't offer a test ride unless cash is posted up front ... meaning it's yours and your responsibility (and your risk), but if you wind up not wanting to move forward with the purchase, upon return of an undamaged, nondumped bike.... I'm not gonna argue and try to con you our of your hard earned money. Just gotta keep it honest and hope you understand.

What does it need?
Its going to need a new set of rear brake pads. I inspected them when I changed out the chain/sprockets. The inner pad against the piston is near EOL. There is lining left, but I would want it changed before I took it on a long trip. Not sure on the front pads. Rear tire was replaced at some point and is a different brand/style than front. Still rides good. No ill manners. I didn't think to look for a date code on the tires before posting, though. Since my brother bought it, he has not changed the oil. So the oil in it is at least a year old... but no idea how long it went before a change. Currently has a K&N oil filter on it. When I brought it home, the battery was dead, so it was charged up over a few hours while I worked on the bike. After that, I put it on my battery tender for a week. It has been off the tender for a week and has zero issue starting the bike. Also, when I first started it up and ran it, the Check Engine light was on. After I rode it around a bit and put a tank of fresh gas in it (old gas drained), the light has gone out. That should be visible in the video I recorded. Off the top of my head, beyond that... it just needs insurance, tag and a rider. Brother has the title at his house that I need to pick up.

Let me know if I can answer any further questions.
