So I bought 2v 4.6 to 5.4 adapters on ebay last year, turns out they don't work. It would also appear that the Performance Product ones have been discontinued, RPMOutlet is the last company to list them on their website but I called and they're not in stock and no longer made.

I know its a long shot but if anyone on here has any that they'd part with, PLEASE EMAIL ME. I don't check this forum often but I figured I'd see if anyone else does. please email [email protected] if you have a set you'd like to sell. Thanks.

Forget the adapter idea and go straight to a widened edelbrock intake. Gotta cut it in half add material. Change the fuel rail locations to accept the stock rails. Might loose 20rwtq but it definitely breathes up top on the rpm's

Someone used to make a 5.4 2v low profile intake just for mustangs. They stopped making them years ago unfortuneately. 5.4 2v swaps were never that common so parts aren’t easy to find.

And unfortuneately the falcon intakes won’t fit. They’re intended for 4v heads, which have a different port design than the 2v. Though I have seen them used on 5.4 4v swaps.

Ive owned the specific 5.4l 2v intake that used to be made called HPS. I wasnt happy with its performance. The plenum and ports were to big.

Nearly the same engine with a widened 4.6l edelbrock and i can say a major difference

I've thought about this quite a bit. I would also need a custom sheet metal elbow correct? There is no way to get around that.

A custom sheet metal plenum or a plate adapter.

Im sure their are benefits to the custom plenum, but ive had good luck with an aluminum plate adapter.
