Milled the top. Nice and straight! Also milled down the rail holder towers. I use some .500" aluminum stock welded to them at the distance needed for the stock rails to bolt down and itll pretty much be done. Ill get it all sand blasted. Probably paint it high temp black. Should help with the idiotic weld job.

Looks like its coming out great! Do you have any plans to smooth the inside? oh, and any plans for the elbow yet?

Ill smooth the inside some. Figured id sandblast it first. As for the elbow, ill make an adapter to the intake top for the mustang elbow. Ive got a matching pro - products 75mm throttle plenum combo. Its plenty for the intake runner cc size.

This intake is going to be interesting. The last build had an HPS on top. Hopefully this one proves what ive figured. We will see...

No....ill use a 75mm pro products throttle body and upper plenum. The oval would look cool, but that means ill have to fab something. I may at a later date, but for now ill just use what available.

Cobra throttle body spacer and a custom box. I wish I had the tools and skills to weld aluminum

Here is what will be on top of intake! No more about cobra...blah blah. You guys are killing me.

So, I did the mathmatics and this 75mm throttle body has more area than a stock cobra twin bore. Technically speaking this 75mm throttle body can pass more cfm. However I do like the idea the cobra being more spread out and the throttle body hieght is a tad smaller......see! You guys got me thinking cobra!!!

With height being an issue its a nice plus to be shorter. The big oval options are good if you ever want to grow.

Thank you! I also have a few dual throttle bodys laying around. The 4v intake has been done for about 4yrs now and its front mounted cobra throttle body. If I decide to grow from this 2v, 4v will be next. With the prices of TFS heads and a special set of pistons being close to $1000 ill stick to whats cheap fun. The biggest power ive heard from a TFS n/a 5.4l was around 430rwhp. 4v's do this all days.
