Yeah seriously, you would think he would have offered that. Did you also run his used Motocraft coils?

No, I found a set of brand new coil packs off Ebay with a lifetime warranty for less then what he wanted

I was thinking of doing this... still might. I am happy with my coil packs right now and also happy with $50 for a full set of OEM plug wires vs $40 per coil on a COP setup. Also, you have to remember that when you do the conversion you are essentially running the COPS at double speed in a wasted spark setup which I'm sure is not the greatest thing for them. I will probably just move my coil packs behind the intake or wherever to make it look clean and retain the wires.

But add a KB Boost a Spark to the COP conversion and will that address the change in speed to the setup?

If the BAS is tee'd into the 12v reference before it separates into COP's, should the BAS help aid in this lost spark with the conversion?

Just pulled the trigger on the COP harness. I want to get new ignition coils so I gotta start looking for that next. It looks like there are multiple different years obviously for the COP's themselves. Does it matter whether I go with 3v/4v any particular year?

You'll want 2v cops. I think 3v and 4v are straight while 2v have an angle to them. Gonna price some new ford coils at my price tomorrow or Monday.

Ahhh okay. Thanks man I'd really appreciate it. I can't really find part #'s that differentiate 2v vs 3v vs 4v. From some posts in the past I think DG508 may be what I am looking for, but not positive.

Thats what I'm starting to read also, that the boots is what is different. Do you happen to know if the link I posted is what the 2v boot should look like?

Got the harness today. Seems to be awesome quality. Next up I will be getting Ford COP's and hopefully start the conversion within the next month or so.

Agreed, it should really make a huge difference. If you are planning on going with Ford Ignition Coils the cheapest place I have found them is rockauto.com. Just a heads up

Once you are done you will be left with the big ugly coil pack mount on the driver side, I modified it slightly and fit my oil catch can there
