Go to the JY and go scrounge 8 of them that have undamaged plastic housings. Should be $5 each. Then buy a $30 COP rebuild (boot/spring) kit and roll. Also could have done brand new 96-98 OEM wires for $50 total lol. I still have 0 idea why ppl convert.

That will look amazing with the COP conversion. Do you have a build thread?

Thanks man, I really hope it cleans it up which I'm sure it will. I got on a bit of a delay due to buying a house, but I'm hoping to have it done this winter still. Sorry but no official build thread, I've been on this forum for a while and literally have been modding this car for 7+ years and its changed so much. If you ever have any questions just let me know and I'd be glad to help you out or give you advice.

In my opinion I think that looks great as it is. But everyone has their own opinions. I like wires others don't.

Did you happen to do your COP swap yet? Eager to see how you like it. Hopefully going to do it myself in the next couple months

Unfortunately no. I'm in the process of moving and as soon as I get the mustang in the new garage I'm going to do the conversion. Probably around March/April timeframe. I'll be sure to post up before/after pics and thoughts and/or any issues I ran into.

lol

I did this in a little over an hour a few wks ago. Removed both brackets and installed the '99-'04 P/S bracket too.

Seemed a bit peppier too.

Yeah I finished it a while ago, just never ended up posting up after shots. Extremely simple, and like said above it only takes about 30 minutes to an hour to completely swap over. Car runs great, however it hasn't seen 20+ psi after the swap so I'm hoping it can still hold spark:

Thanks a lot for the props. I'm really happy I went with the wrinkle black as well. Tomorrow hoping to swap my faded alternator out for a flat black PA performance I have and do the IAC relocation. I'll post up results
