I have a buddy who drives a 1990 Nissan 300zx N/A. Its a 5spd, and he has CAI and exhaust. And i have a 98' v6 stang 5spd..w/ just a CAI. I keep up with him pretty well off the line but he just takes me in top speed. What kind of mods would it take to take him down? Gears, a tune, exhaust, UD pulleys? Think that could do it? He's just really obsessed with his car and thinks its god or something so it'd be really sick to beat him so he would shut up about his amazing Z!!!!!!!

hmm..you shouldnt be anywhere near him hes got 222hp runs about a 15.5 stock...where you are 150 hp...eh I dont really know what you are stock probably like 16.5..honestly..I would say there is no way to make that v6 as fast as that z without a supercharger, nitrous, or a v8...v6 before 99 are hopeless IMO

is a motor swap really that hard? i would put either a 94-95 5.0 v8 motor in my car or a 96-98 cobra 4v motor in. but everyone just says ohh its way too hard ohh just sell it and buy a gt/cobra ohhh goddddd. like its fucking impossible to do. i mean swapping the motor cant be very hard ive done it before. but the computer and wiring shit is the only part id be worried about. ya my car (94-98 v6) is pretty much a bitch. i wanna know if a swap is really soo impossible that i should sell my car b4 i do a lot of body mods and put any money in it.

considering the cost of the swap youd be better off buying a gt/ or cobra...the 96-98 cobras/gt can be found for very cheap
