4.6 in 94 cougar same as Mustangs??

Not to concerned about the intakes.. Mainly asking short block. My brother-n-law just totalled out his 94 cougar with a 4.6 and am debating of getting the motor. Just to have it for a spare and build it slowly with the PI swap for my 97GT. Is this motor worth messing with???

im like 95% sure it is the same...i know the crown vics and such had the same motors as the mustangs.

I believe they are the same just more restricted.

Everything is the same but the intake.
